In economic activities, entrepreneurs, employees, whether executives or not, are usually categorized. More recently, intrapreneurs have been recognized, and here comes the "intrepreneurs."
The goal is to highlight a specific category of individuals working in companies. They are not entrepreneurs since they are employees, nor are they creators of new concepts, products, services, or other innovations, as defined in the concept of intrapreneurship. However, like intrapreneurs, they go beyond their areas of expertise for the success of the company, treating it as if it were their own business—a concept of "employee entrepreneur“ that I refer to as intrepreneur.
Intrepreneurship refers to a mindset, an attitude, and the initiatives of employees within organizations to undertake tasks, often without being explicitly asked to do so, but because they have identified them as beneficial for achieving their goals and creating value within the company for its well-being.
